Envisioned as an environment designed to nurture career growth
and sustainable thinking,
DS Labs challenges creators, leaders, and self-starters to rethink how things are made for social good.

Equipping professionals with the necessary tools and resources needed to propel in their careers, the 5000 square foot loft in the heart of NYC is a free coworking space for creative minds. In exchange for free use of the office space, along with mentorship from sustainable design expert Laura Tufariello, creatives will contribute 10 hours per week to DS Labs' social good initiatives.

DS Labs believes that connecting people with unique talents can help change the world. Through bringing creative minds together, this coworking space encourages innovators from different industries to collaborate in designing sustainable solutions that will better serve our world. These open projects can be proposed by any member but must serve the common theme of social good and sustainability.

A refreshing concept to stimulate personal professional growth while also encouraging collaboration and idea generation, DS Labs introduces a new way to co-work. Through exchanging ideas for the use of a fully-equipped office space, innovative thinkers can lend their minds to positive social change. All DS Labs projects will be fully funded, and any profit turned will be re-invested to help the labs sustain themselves.

Having worked in sustainability since 1999, Laura Tufariello is well-versed in the importance of corporate social responsibility. One of the founding members of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, she continues to educate businesses on the importance of working towards social good. Looking to start her next chapter in sustainability, Laura is opening the doors to her office loft space in the center of NYC to encourage innovative thinking while eliminating financial barriers.
